Meet Our Staff!

Danielle Caisse
Certified and Licensed Veterinary Technician
Danielle graduated Colby-Sawyer College, with a BA in Biology with a concentration in chemistry and cellular research in 2006. Her main interest in veterinary medicine is exotic and avian species. She has worked in veterinary medicine with Dr. Magnuson throughout high school and college since 2000. She became a certified and licensed veterinary technician in 2006. Danielle is continuing her education at Rivier College working toward finishing her executive MBA degree in 2008 and is planning on applying to veterinary school after graduation.. Outside of work and school, she enjoys spending time with her pitbull, Lizzy, managing her barn and horseback riding, reading, traveling, or working out. Danielle’s other pets include an iguana, 3 cats, and a lovebird. Most weekends you can find her at NASCAR races cheering on her brother.

 

Eunice Hoshizaki
Certified Veterinary Technician
Eunice graduated from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Anthropology. While in Chicago she worked as a production editor in a publishing company, a freelance proofreader, and then as a curatorial assistant and assistant exhibit developer at the Field Museum of Natural History. Eunice began working with animals after she moved east several years ago, and has an abundant amount of experience working at animal shelters in upstate New York, as well as in New Hampshire. Her special interest is animal behavior. In her free time Eunice enjoys fossil collecting, bird watching, reading, traveling, and spending time with her pets.

 


Julie Stockbridge

Veterinary Technician
Julie joined Canobie Lake Vet after working with advertising agencies in the greater Boston area for 19 years. She has had extensive training working with clients in customer service and sales. Julie looks forward to the challenges in her new field and expanding her knowledge working with animals. She has always had a passion for animals, including the 4 of her own. Her pets include her Newfoundland (Guinness), a Pomeranian (Greta), and 2 cats (Reggie and Priscilla). Julie’s other interests include yoga, reading, hiking, and ice-skating. She also loves hanging out by the pool watching Guinness swim.



Gean Unsworth

Veterinary Technician
Gean has been with Dr. Magnuson over 7 years and helped start Veterinary Homecare Services. Gean has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Zoology from the University of Washington and has worked in the veterinary medical field for almost 15 years. Gean has a strong background working with avian and exotic species as well as dogs and cats. She enjoys spending time with her 2 children and husband as well as her 2 dogs, Doc and Flick. Geans’ hobbies include knitting, bicycling, reading, hiking and skiing.

 

 


Sara White

Certified Veterinary Technician
Sara graduated from Rivier College in the spring of 2006 with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in pre-veterinary biology and a minor in chemistry. She joined Canobie Lake Vet in the spring of 2007 and has over eight years of experience in the animal care field. Sara has a special interest in exotics but very much enjoys treating animals of any kind. In her spare time Sara enjoys photography, cooking, camping, and spending time with her dog, Sadie, and her three cats, Bella, Harmonie and Mayzie. Sara also enjoys passing on her animal knowledge to others, and she volunteers as the director of a local animal rescue group.

 


Lindsay Fortier

Veterinary Technician
Lindsay is presently working toward her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science and Pre-veterinary medicine at the University of New Hampshire. She will graduate in the Spring of 2008 and plans to apply for veterinary school in the fall. She has worked in the field since 1996 from kennel assisting to working as a veterinary technician in general practice, as well as in emergency and critical care medicine. Lindsay is planning on taking the VTNE in the summer to become a certified technician. In her spare time outside of work and school she enjoys spending time with her boys- her fiance Brandon, and her two dogs, Darby and Max.
