Eunice Hoshizaki
Certified Veterinary Technician
Eunice graduated from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Anthropology. While in Chicago she worked as a production editor in a publishing company, a freelance proofreader, and then as a curatorial assistant and assistant exhibit developer at the Field Museum of Natural History. Eunice began working with animals after she moved east several years ago, and has an abundant amount of experience working at animal shelters in upstate New York, as well as in New Hampshire. Her special interest is animal behavior. In her free time Eunice enjoys fossil collecting, bird watching, reading, traveling, and spending time with her pets.

Julie Stockbridge
Veterinary Technician
Julie joined Canobie Lake Vet after working with advertising agencies in the greater Boston area for 19 years. She has had extensive training working with clients in customer service and sales. Julie has always had a passion for animals including her own 2 pets Guinness (Newfoundland) and Priscilla (Siamese). Julie’s interests include yoga, reading, hiking, and ice-skating. She also loves hanging out with her husband by the pool watching Guinness swim.
Jeffrey Frechette
Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist
Jeffrey graduated from Keene State College with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Sociology in 2007. He has over 8 years of customer service experience working in both retail and hospitality. While Jeffrey loves all animals he has a special interest in exotics and has owned or fostered more then he can count. Jeffrey has over 2 years experience working in the animal care field and is excited about developing this even further with his customer service skills. Jeffrey currently has a Chocolate Lab named Bruno and a California Kingsnake named Zebes. Jeffrey enjoys being outdoors, hiking, camping, swimming, and also loves to cook.
Kara McNamara
Veterinary Technician
Kara is an experienced and seasoned veterinary technician with over ten years of experience. She graduated from Essex Agricultural and Technical Institute with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology in 1991. She went on to receive a certificate of Grooming and Kennel Management in 1992. Kara is a breeder and exhibitor of English Mastiffs. She enjoys sharing her home with 5 mastiffs. She also shares her home with her husband, David and their African Gray parrot, Tony.
Melissa Ralph
Veterinary Technician
Melissa joined our team in May and comes with over 10 years of veterinary medical experience. Melissa grew up in Massachusetts with her identical twin sister (she really does have a twin if you think you have seen her before!) She enjoys working one on one with clients and their pets. She finds veterinary medicine very rewarding because she likes to be able to help the animals that can’t always tell you what is wrong. Melissa spends her off hours with her daughter enjoying the outdoors, power walking, and doing pilates.
Amy Joyce
Veterinary Technician
Amy has over 7 years experience working as a Veterinary Technician. Amy grew up in New Hampshire, but moved to California for 3 years where she gained most of her technician experience. She recently moved back to New Hampshire to be closer to her family. Amy also works as a Licensed Nursing Assistant and has been working in the nursing field for over 5 years. In her spare time Amy enjoys boating with her boyfriend along with her two rat terriers Remy and Linguini. She also has 2 cats, Henry and Tony. She loves to foster kittens, enjoys cooking, horseback riding, and camping.
Kerri Staruk
Veterinary Assistant
Kerri is currently studying biology at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, and planning to graduate in 2011. She is hoping to be accepted to veterinary school after her graduation, and she is particularly interested in emergency medicine and oncology. Though most of her spare time is spent studying, she enjoys traveling, reading a good book, and eating good food. She recently finished making a pond in her backyard and stocking it with a variety of fish. Kerri also likes to spend time with her cat Byte, and until his recent passing, her dog Dustie.
Christopher Mawby
Veterinary Assistant
Christopher is currently in the Veterinary Technician Program at Great Bay Community College. He aspires to be a veterinary technician with a long term goal of veterinarian. Though most of his time is spent studying and working, he also enjoys paint ball, hunting, fishing and hanging out with his dogs Asya and Tulip.
Jae Mawby
Technician Assistant
Jae is currently a student at Windham High School. Jae recently joined our team and has a hard working and animal loving spirit like her brother Christopher.
